China Mobile Limited (the "Company", and together with its subsidiaries, the "Group") was incorporated in Hong Kong on 3 September 1997. The Company was listed on the New York Stock Exchange and The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited on 22 October 1997 and 23 October 1997, respectively. The Company was admitted as a constituent stock of the Hang Seng Index in Hong Kong on 27 January 1998. As the leading mobile services provider in China, the Group boasts the world's largest unified, contiguous all-digital mobile network and the world's largest mobile subscriber base. The aggregate subscriber usage volume reached 1,252.15 billion minutes, representing an annual growth rate of 38.6 per cent.. The number of value-added business users reached 270.384 million, representing an annual growth rate of 30.8 per cent.. SMS usage volume reached 353.38 billion messages, representing an annual growth rate of 41.6 per cent..
